About the Technology Engineering Center (TEC)

Established in 2018 as a strategic talent center focused on innovation to help expand the reach of Western Union’s omnichannel platform and digital efforts. Despite being in operation for less than five years, the site now has almost 1,000 employees, building end-to-end products, solutions, and capabilities to deliver a better customer experience globally.

The center also received its first Great Place to Work certification in June 2021. The certification is a recognition of our great culture of excellence, innovation and people-focus, and our incredible teams that are at the heart of this achievement.
