This position will oversee several large and complex projects and ensure that they are planned, managed and governed in a transparent and disciplined manner.  You’ll develop and maintain strong partnership with the Business Sponsor to gain understanding of requirements, sustain open dialogue to manage product backlog efficiently, to facilitate and drive the benefits of the project. 

Role Responsibilities 

  • Support and educate the Business Sponsors, stakeholders with a focus on shifting projects towards using more Agile principles and methodologies to preserve the team from external pressures which may inhibit its productivity and to enact such project methods in their lines of business.  
  • Manage daily scrums to maximize team output, facilitate sprint ceremonies and conflict resolution, hold teams accountable for their commitments and help remove roadblocks to their work.
  • Effectively communicate with senior management and the project governance authorities (Business Sponsor, project board, steering committee etc), and manage the overall configuration and status of the project.
  • Contribute to and help define. document and standardize Agile processes and metrics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences within and outside of the Sprint Team (Stakeholders, Executives) and possess the ability to work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders (business, compliance, Legal, IT, ) to remove impediments to sprint commitments.
     

Role Requirements 

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in project management including experience in managing distributed Scrum teamsStrong working knowledge of AB&C laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements, in particular US FCPA and UK Bribery Act.
  • Must possess excellent organization, prioritization and negotiation skills and have strong written and oral communication skill; self-starter and can work independently.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) qualifications are highly preferred.
  • As an advocate of Agile Principles, you should be able to apply RBC Agile Management Framework and well documented Agile techniques (User Stories, Burndown techniques, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous testing).
