Better starts and ends with the customer

We’ll be looking for you to grow the business in the Greater Seattle Area by signing, training, and activating new Western Union retail agents and managing business development activities with existing retail agents.  We’ll want you to meet and exceed your sales targets through new agent acquisitions and growing sales in-store, managing the end-to-end sales process. You will support agent activation and regularly visit high-performing retail locations and be responsible for the Agent lifecycle for all retail independents in your territory.

For such an important role, you will have 3+ or more years of client-facing sales experience, ideally in a multi-cultural environment within the money transfer space. You’ll need the ability to work independently and possess strong decision-making skills. You’ll use your interpersonal skills to negotiate, present and listen to your agents, and build trust and confidence with them. Ideally, you will be educated to a degree level and have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.

We’ll look to you to be self-motivated, self-assured, and show a high degree of integrity and tenacity to do your very best.  This position will require regular travel within a defined territory, and for that reason, a valid driver’s license is required.

Annual base salary gross: $43,650 – $72,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
