You will support the Head of Sales in leading the sales team, driving team performance, and developing effective strategies that establish business objectives. You will create new business insights and convert them into profitable commercial opportunities.  We’ll look to you to manage business plans to support the strategic goals and achieve targets.  You will manage, coach, and energize your team to achieve and increase sales growth and development.  Your experience will help to nurture and sustain new business opportunities whilst engaging and collaborating with senior stakeholders to develop and execute strategies in driving business growth and operational efficiency.

You’ll succeed in this role if you have extensive corporate sales experience, preferably in the financial or international payments industry, and in leading successful sales teams. You will have the ability to engage and influence people, identify opportunities, present solutions, and win business whilst guiding your team to success. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate initiative, tenacity, and leadership skills.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Following the Western Union Business Solutions divestiture announcement on August 4, 2021, recruitment efforts will continue for this position on behalf of Western Union. However, as part of the divestiture agreement, this position will transition to the purchasing company should the transaction conclude.
