Better requires process discipline and simplification
As Compensation Manager, you are responsible for the delivery of Western Union’s (WU) compensation programs supporting our corporate business functions. In this role, you will contribute to the rewards strategy through the delivery and consultation of best-in-class compensation programs for functions and regions that support and enable WU to attract, motivate and retain the best talent as we continue to evolve our business to be the leader in cross-border money transfer. You will partner with leaders across the People organization and the business to determine where and how to leverage rewards practices. You will have a solid understanding of immerging trends in the competitive environment to provide innovative solutions to compensation and talent-related challenges.
For such a pivotal role, you’ll ideally have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent, international compensation. and benefits experience. You’ll bring to the table 5 years of compensation experience including progressively more complex compensation assignments. The successful candidate will have a history of experience in successfully assessing, developing, and implementing the principles of compensation & benefits in an organizational setting, exercising responsibility in monitoring and complying with local regulations, compensation/benefits administration, and communication. You’ll stand out if you’re team-oriented and are familiar with HR Systems including Workday, PeopleSoft, or Oracle. Previous experience in agile working methodologies is also desirable.

The annual gross base salary range is $81,813.04 – $144,116.36 This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
