Better requires process, discipline, and simplification
We'll be looking for you to lead the review and maintenance of regulatory obligations checklists in the Philippines and other countries within the region. You will be required to perform certain assessments on programs or processes to check and ensure any gaps identified are addressed by the relevant units. You will also work closely with the legal team to get and provide correct interpretation of the obligations. In addition, you will implement processes as part of 2nd line of defense to assist and guide in helping compliance of different departments to the regulatory obligations and provide leadership reports to support the compliance programs across multiple locations and ensure alignment in regulatory strategies.
For such a significant role, we require you to have experience within Regulatory Compliance or Regulatory Risk management at a managerial level within financial services and having managed Compliance programs in the past. You will need to have worked with multiple payments or financial industry and have resolved compliance issues for these. Along with this, you will need to be analytically minded and comfortable in communicating and presenting to senior management. Previous experience of agile working methodologies is also desirable.
